Stanek’s carries a variety of groundcovers depending on your site and situation.

Low Ground Covers…We have a great selection of groundcovers that hug the ground. These can be used between pavers and stepping stones and most do well in sun or part shade. We have:

• An assortment of Thyme that release a fragrant scent when walked upon
  
  
• Tough, hardy Cotula (Brass Buttons) with their feathery, low to the ground foliage and wonderful, tiny, white, button flowers in summer
  
  
• Veronica or (Speedwell) with their vigor for spreading and beautiful, tiny, blue flowers in spring
  
  
• Sagina subulata (Irish or Scotch Moss) which can take high traffic and vigorously spreads around stepping stones to give them a fresh, green outline

Medium Ground Covers: These will encompass larger areas, where a more complete coverage of the ground is needed. We have:

• Some for shade like Ivy, Pachysandra, Lamiums, Vinca and more
  
  
• Some for full sun like Genista, Helichrysimum, Delosperum, Sedums, Sempervivums (Hen and Chicks) and more

Larger Ground Covers: Often, especially on difficult slopes a need arises for larger groundcovers to prevent erosion and add interest. We carry a number of evergreen and deciduous perennials and shrubs that can fit your situation and enhance your landscape.
